Durmitor Massif. This Dinaric Alps treasure includes 48 peaks higher than 2,000m and 5 canyons as well as a glacier Debeli Namet. There are also 18 Mountain Eyes and a beautiful glacial Lake, hundreds of springs that have water, 500km of marked trails, a cavern filled with ice stalactites and stalagmites as well as archeological sites under UNESCO’s protection. Durmitor has evergreen, deciduous forests, and black-pine forests. Durmitor has 1,500 different species of plants. 37 are endemic, and six can only be found there.
