This way you have the look of real, round logs on the outside, but nice, flat walls on the inside of the home. Flatter walls make it much easier to hang art and to arrange furniture. It’s also much easier to clean as round logs do tend to collect a lot of dust and there are many cracks in between logs where critters can hide out.
