The Tradesman Style. This style of a log home is distinguished by its smooth lines and limited use of exposed beams. The second-floor system (loft), incorporates conventional construction allowing the first-floor ceiling to hide electrical wiring and plumbing. Roof systems are traditionally constructed with rafters placed at 16 inches o.c. which allows for several insulation options. The Tradesman Style will have exposed posts and tie beams per the design needs. The railings are made of square stock but can be upgraded to round railings if you desire.
